Vivek denies reports of joining Congress again

Rubbishing reports that he was going back to Congress,  MP G .Vivek said that his resignation letter was sent to Sonia Gandhi long back.

Vivek met Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde in New Delhi on Tuesday. Speaking to media after the meeting, Vivek said that he explained to Shinde that Naxalism will increase if Telangana state is not formed. He is also believed to have cited the example of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to Shinde, saying Naidu was attacked by Maoists in the Seemandhra region.

Vivek reportedly made it clear to Shinde that no option other than Telangana state was acceptable. He also asserted that there had been no attacks on the assets of Seemandhra people during the Telangana movement. He also submitted a report on Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's false campaign.

He exuded confidence that Telangana Bill will be passed in the upcoming Parliament session.
