Vishakapatnam: Fire accident in chemical factory

Vishakapatnam: A major fire broke out on Sunday in a chemical factory in Keshawaram village of Payakaraopeta Mandal, Vishakapatnam .

It is reported that the blast of a reactor at the Deccan Chemicals factory led to a huge fire. It is also reported that several factory workers were stuck in the fire.

People in the surrounding villages ran helter-skelter upon seeing smog created by the fire break out. On the other hand, fire tenders reached the spot shortly after they were notified about the incident by the locals.

It is said that the factory has already experienced a major fire accident earlier. Further details are awaited.
