Vimalakka surrenders before court, remanded

Arunodaya leader Vimalakka today surrendered before the court at Upparapalle of Rajendranagar limits in Hyderabad. Vimalakka was facing charges in the damage caused to a toll gate during the Telangana March on September 30. 

Vimalakka along with other TUF activists allegedly set ablaze two toll plaza booths on the Outer Ring Road  near Gachibowli besides causing minor damages to six other booths. The police registered a case against her on this.

As the court remanded her in judicial custody till November 8, she is shifted to jail in Hyderabad.
