Vijay’s Mersal Teaser Most Viewed, Pushes Rajinikanth’s Kabali Down

Vijay's Mersal is ruling the box office even four weeks after its theatrical release. According to sources, the teaser video of Mersal has overtaken that of Rajinikanth’s Kabali to become the most viewed Indian film teaser to date.

Mersal released on Diwali and shattered all records. The YouTube Teaser has so far received over 34.6 million views. Mersal has become the highest grossing film raked in Rs 230 Cr at the overseas market. Vijay's Mersal released only in two languages but fetched good revenue.

On the other side, Superstar Rajinikanth's last release Kabali has grossed over Rs 250 crore at the ticket window. The film had released in three languages.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will be next seen in 2.0 which is slated for release early next year. Vijay's next movie is with AR Murugadoss and this is the third time they are teaming up after Thuppakki and Kaththi. Watch this space for more updates
