Vijayawada to pip past Delhi in crime rate

Hyderabad: National capital tops the list in crime rate, do you know which is second city after Delhi? Not Mumbai, not Bengaluru, but our own city of Vijayawada!

The shocking fact came out following a presentation by home department in a pre-budject session held on January 7. This presentation shocked Chandrababu and bureaucrats alike.

The police honchos predict that it wouldn't take much time for Vijayawada to overtake Delhi in crime rate. They revealed that Vijayawada is the manufacturing hub of hand-made weapons. In recent times, police say most country guns recovered from Maoists were manufactured in VIjayawada.

In a recent incident, police raided a house in Vijayawada where the weapons were being manufactured according to information given by CPI (ML) New Democracy group Naxalites.
Sources said the report is being kept under wraps as it would badly hit the capital city plans of the present government.
