Vijayawada Cadre Upbeat Over Vishnu’s Decision To Join YSRCP 

Vijayawada: Former MLA from Vijayawada Central constituency and Congress leader Malladi Vishnu is all set to join the YSRCP. According to reports in the media, Vishnu is expected to met Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

According to sources, the Congress leader will be joining the YSRCP formally during the YSRCP plenary meeting slated for July 8 at Guntur.

Vishnu, who is working as Vijayawada Urban Congress president, is an ardent fan of former Chief Minister Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He is learnt to have held a meeting with his supporters and party workers on his future course of action.

Realising that there was no future for the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh, Vishnu informed about his plan to join YSRCP to his party workers.

The YSRCP cadre in Vijayawada is upbeat following Vishnu's decision to join the party.
