Vijayashanti to don Congress kanduva

It is not a breaking news that suspended TRS MP M. Vijayashanti is planning to join the Congress Party. It has been reported several times that the actress-turned-politician wants to don the Congress kanduva.

The latest news is that Vijayashanti is in Delhi with Congress spokesperson Renuka Chowdhary. Vijayashanthi also had a word with AICC president Sonia Gandhi.

It is learnt that Vijayashanti is planning to contest on a Congress ticket from Medak Lok Sabha seat in the next election. Reports that BJP leaders too had invited  the Medak MP to join the party. Now it seems she's zeroed in on the Congress.

It is a known fact TRS had suspended Vijayashanti for "anti-party activities" amid reports that she planned to join the Congress. Later, she thanked KCR for working with her for nearly a decade.
