Vijayamma on deeksha to protest power crisis

  The YSR Congress party is all set to kick-start a series of demonstrations to highlight problems of the people.

One of the significant plan on the agenda would be YSRCP honorary president, YS Vijayamma's deeksha to protest against government's decision to hike power tariff.
Vijayamma will go on a hunger strike beginning today demanding immediate rollback of the power tariff hike.
Other party members too will hold dharnas at the headquarters of each Assembly constituency. YSRCP will put pressure on the government to withdraw its moves.  The party is also demanding continuous power supply to agricultural fields (for seven hours daily) as promised by the Congress  during the elections in 2009.
