Vijayamma calls for fight against Cong-TDP nexus plot
It is the time to strike back against the nexus conspiracy by TDP and Congress in the ensuing Panchayat elections, said Y S Vijayamma, YSR Congress honorary president on Tuesday.
Addressing a mammoth party workers’ meeting at Jogipet in Medak district as part of her Telangana tour to enlightening the party workers and gearing them up for panchayat elections, Vijayamma called upon the party workers to make concerted efforts to ensure victory to realize the goals of late YSR. She cautioned the workers that they should not take the elections as easy task and every worker should work with responsibility to reach the goal, she said.
Earlier, she was accorded a tumultuous welcome when she reached Medak district from Hyderabad on Tuesday. She addressed the party activists at Sangareddy. Youth Congress leader Manoj Reddy joined the YSRCP in the presence of Vijayamma. She also visited the canal works which are underway in Singure project on the way to Jogipet. She garlanded the statue of late YSR at Jogipet and paid rich tributes to the great leader.
Vijayamma came down heavily on TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu stating that he has no commitment to serve the people except craving for power. She made it clear that her party was not against Telangana State. She asked the UPA government to act according to the people’s wishes.
Vijayamma is visiting Nalgonda on Wednesday, Khammam on June 27, Rangareddy on June 28, Mahaboobnagar on June 29, Karimnagar on June 30, Adilabad on July 1, Nizamabad on July 2 and Warangal on July 3.
