Vidyasagar Rao to Officiate as Tamil Nadu Governor Too
Chennai: Governor of Maharashtra Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao will discharge the functions of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements are made.
The decision has been taken as the tenure of the present governor K Rosaiah ended on August 30. This was stated in a communique issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Similarly, in addition to his duties as Gujarat Governor, Om Prakash Kohli will officiate as Governor of Madhya Pradesh until further orders. The tenure of the incumbent Ram Naresh Yadav will end on September 7.
