In an incident that came to light recently, a man got married to two women on January 3 in a Bastar village in Chhattisgarh with their approval. As per reports though it was not accepted under societal norms, the girls were okay with marrying the same boy. Hasina and Sundari  married Chandu Maurya on the same mandap with approval of the village elders.
