Chittoor: Elephant Herd Crossover Wreaks Havoc In Banana Plantations

A herd of more than 35 elephants entered Gangadhara Nellore mandal in Chittor district and wreaked havoc in the banana and mango plantations recently. Terrified villagers maintained safe distance and captured the jumbo herd on their cameras. It is a common sight, where these animals are seen crossing over the Andhra-Tamil Nadu borders and destroying fields and plantations on their way.
