Vempalli: 40-year-old attempts rape on 5-year-old

In a tragic incident, a 40-year-old man tried to rape a 5-year-old child in Vempalli of YSR district, reports said on Tuesday.

According to reports, Subbayya, a  resident of Sriram Nagar in Vempalli attempted to rape a child in his neighborhood.

The child reported the matter to her parents, who lodged a complaint with the police. The culprit fled the scene, it is learnt. The police has registered a case against him and launched a hunt to nab the man.
