The controversy surrounding the right date for Vaikunta Ekadashi is a known fact. TTD EO has revealed that Vaikunta Ekadashi will be observed on December 23.
Chinna Jeeyar Swamy had on Saturday clearly said that Vaikunta Ekadashi must be celebrated on December 24 according to the Vaishnav tradition. It is against the culture of Vaishnavs to observe Ekadashi on 23rd itself, he asserted, adding the Vaikunta Dwara must be opened on December 24. Now, the TTD EO's annoucement which is contrary to Chinna Jeeyar Sawmy's instructions has created confusion in the minds of devotees.
