Uttarakhand: 430 pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh still missing

According to reports, 2,616 people from Andhra Pradesh went on a pilgrimage to Uttarakhand. Of them, only 1,239 pilgrims have been rescued so far.

While 993 people are on their way back home. 430 people are reportedly missing and the government is making all efforts to trace them.

About 170 pilgrims will be flown to Hyderabad by an airplane arranged by the state government. IAS officer Sanjay Kumar has requested all the pilgrims to reach Dehradun airport by 3 pm as the airplane would take off by 5 pm.
