US Firm to Set Up LED Plant Near Hyderabad
Hyderabad: US based Advanced Optronic Devices (AOD) along with Indian company Syska has come forward to set up an LED plant in the state.It would invest Rs 500 crore spreading over 50 acres and will provide employment to 2000 people.
A delegation consisting of the representatives of both the companies met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday and expressed its willingness to set up the unit to commence operation from March 2016.
Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao assured them all support in providing the required land and other infrastructure on the outskirts of Hyderabad. He said with the LED lights coming into popular use, the load on the electricity usage will come down drastically.
