Uproar in AP assembly over SDF
Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh assembly on Wednesday witnessed an uproar on the issue of the Special Development Fund (SDF), with the leader of the opposition, Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy accusing the government of making funds available to TDP leaders and in-charges who lost elections, while the MLAs of the opposition party were being denied the same.
Y.S Jagan questioned the rationale of allocating resources from the SDF to TDP leaders such as Kandula Narayan Reddy and Adala Prabhakar Reddy. The Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad had to adjourn the proceedings for 10 minutes as the opposition members rose in accord to press the issue.
