UP Governor admitted to hospital due to chest pain
Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has been admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow on Sunday night. He was rushed to the hospital at about 8.30 PM after he complained of chest pain. He has been kept under observation. His condition is stable.
Ram Naik has also served as the Union Minister of Oil and Natural Gas in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee cabinet. Ram Naik is also a cancer survivor and became a union minister after he recovered from cancer.
He was appointed the Uttar Pradesh Governor on July 22, 2014.
