Undertrial ISIS Sympathizers Attack Jail Staff, Guard Injured

The undertrial  prisoners attacked the guard at Chanchalguda prison - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: A guard at Chanchalguda prison was severely injured after three undertral ISIS sympathizers attacked him on Saturday.

The prisoners, who were identified as Ibrahim Yazdani, Iliyas Yazdani and Ataullah Rahman, were arrested for being sympathizers of terror group ISIS. On Saturday, the relatives of the prisoners made an attempt to meet when they were being shifted to produce them in the court. The warders tried to restrict the relatives not to meet them. The prisoners immediately attacked the jail staff.

According to the police, when a jail warden Bharath Kumar opened the Wicket Gate around 12.30pm for shifting the prisoners to court for trial, the accused pushed the sentry by abusing him. Then they barged into the main gate.

Noticing this, the police got alerted and held them. Following a complaint by the jail superintendent, a case was registered against the accused at Dabeerpura police station.
