Union minister cleans banks of river Ganga

Promoting Swachch Bharat launched by Prime Minister Modi, Union Minister and RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha on Saturday cleaned the banks of river  Ganga in Patna and called upon the people to associate themselves with the campaign.


  
Kushwaha said cleaning of the Ganga banks was all the more important in view of the coming 'Chhath' festival. Kushwaha spent nearly two hours to clean the river banks at Gandhighat. "The campaign will succeed only when everybody identifies self with it", the Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj said.
