Unfair for Chandrababu to politicise floods: Botsa
PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday lamented TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu for politicising the issue of Chief Minister Kiran Reddy not paying a visit to flood-hit areas.
It was not appropriate to make an issue of the Kiran Reddy’s inability to go to Uttarakhand. Defending the Chief Minister, the PCC chief said he was holding review meetings with officials and consulting with the ministers, who were deployed in the relief operations. Taking political advantage of the situation Chandrababu Naidu created a scene at the AP Bhavan in Delhi, he said and added that he was doing it for publicity.
Bosta said information pertaining to the deceased and the missing persons in the Uttarakhand floods was inadequate and there should be control rooms in every district to collect the information. He advised the Chief Minister to announce ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased.
