UNESCO's World Heritage city status for Warangal - Sakshi Post

 The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization( UNESCO) declared Warangal as the World Heritage City. It's a rare and prestigious honour for Warangal city.

 It is popularly known that the city has historical importance with holy temples, its ancient 1000-pillar temple, Ramappa Gudi and some other major tourism destinations.

As it has been awrded as world heritage city,Warangal will receive funds develop tourism and create much more infrastructure required for the development of tourism.

Union Tourism Minister, Chiranjeevi released Rs.25 lakhs for the city for the hold  Kakathiya festival recently. Thereafter, Chiranjeevi has reportedly put all his effort to get the status of world heritage to Warangal city, and finally he made it fruitful. 

This is one of the best achievements of Chiranjeevi at the beginning of his tenure as Union Tourism Minister. One has to wait and see how Warangal city would be developed as a tourist destination in the coming days.
