Reacting to the news, Peetala Sujatha said that she doubts a similar trap is being laid on her as her fellow TDP MLA Revanth was arrested. She called for a detailed probe into the incident and wondered what if there was a bomb instead of cash in that bag. Sujatha clarified that she doesn't know the girl Sri Lakshmi whose hall ticket was in the bag and stated she was not in her house at that time.
