Uday Kiran's death mystery unraveled

Hero Uday Kiran, whose colourful life ended in tragedy, died of severe asphyxiation caused by hanging self.

The forensic report on his death, submitted today to the Banjara Hills police, said that the actor was depressed and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of death.
The forensic science lab report has confirmed that suicide was the cause of his death. Uday Kiran was found hanging in the mini gymnasium in his Srinagar Colony residence on January 5. His sudden death has raised several questions.
Many believed that he committed suicide unable to come to terms with his sagging career and remained depressed for days before his death.
The police interrogated Uday Kiran's family members including his wife and sister for two days.
Young Uday Kiran, whose looks and dancing skills made him a rising star of Telugu industry, was a favourite of young audiences. However, of late, his career took a nose dive and he had no offers on hand at the time of his death.
