Two youth drown, trapped in vortex
Two youth died after they trapped in a vortex in a drain in Ponnuru mandal of Guntur district on Thursday.
According to reports, Tenali Naveen, 17, of Munukuthuru village and Bolla Ratnababu, 25, went for swimming in the Tungabhadra drain at Machavaram and caught in the vortex. Their bodies were fished out. Naveen was studying polytechnic in Hyderabad and came to home during summer holidays. Ratnababu was working as a supervisor in a real estate company.
