Two teachers held for passing 'lewd comments' on girl students - Sakshi Post

Suryapet (Nalgonda): Police arrested two teachers for allegedly passing lewd comments on girl students of government high school in Suryapet, Nalgonda district. The police arrested the duo after the students lodged a complaint with the Deputy District Educational Officer and She-Team over `objectionable behavior’ of their Mathematics teachers.

Expressing their anguish, the high school students in the complaint stated that they were subjected to harsh comments, scolding and rude behavior by mathematics teacher Anjaiah and English teacher Chandrashekhar Reddy.

"These two teachers are harassing us by making us to sit next to the boys and reprimanding if we refused to do so,’’ the girls stated in a written complaint to the educational officer. The students pleaded the officer to issue transfer certificates to them so that they can join other schools.

Following the complaint, the police rushed to the school and took Anjaiah and Chandrashekhar Reddy into custody.
