Both regions got equal justice : Shinde

Union Minister for Home Affairs, Sushilkumar Shinde said that with the bifurcation, both the regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana got justice.

“The state of Telangana is the longstanding demand of Telangana people. With the formation of the state, their dream came true. Similarly, the people of Seemandhra are will also benefit with key projects like Polavaram and others along with a special package. Both the states got justice," commented the minister.

“Congress party and Sonia Gandhi had hoped for the formation of the state and justice for Seemandhra region. Their wish is finally fulfilled”, said Shinde.

The minister said that the parties like BJP, BSP, LJP and some other parties had supported the bill.
