Two killed in robbers' attack in Telangana

Two persons were killed and two others were injured in an attack by robbers on three houses in Raghunathapalle of Telangana's Warangal district in the early hours of Friday.

A group of seven burglars broke into the houses in Raghunathpalle. When the residents resisted them, they attacked them with sharp-edged weapons.
A 55-year-old woman B. Lakshmi and a nine-year-old girl Nandini were killed in the attack. A five-year-old boy and 80-year-old woman were critically injured. The injured wereshifted to Hyderabad for treatment.
Police said the robbers escaped with Rs.50,000 cash and jewellery from the houses.
