Anti-Corruption Bureau  today arrested two policemen for allegedly accepting a bribe in SPSR Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.

Sub-Inspector of police Bhogyam Ramesh Babu, attached to Chejarla police station, was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 with the help of police constable K Guravaiah.

Ramesh Babu had demanded bribe to help one accused in filing a charge sheet against her in the Court of Law, a press release from the ACB said. The bribe amount was recovered from the possession of the constable, after which, the two policemen were arrested. The case is being investigated, police said.
