Two arrested for defrauding

Hyderabad: Musheerabad Police on Monday arrested two fraudsters who have been cheating people by collecting money promising government jobs and flats for low rates.

According to Musheerabad CI Bittu Mohan Kumar, V. Suresh (30) and Madhukar (25), who belong to Warangal district, have been staying at Nacharam and Saroornagar areas in Hyderabad respectively. Both are doing private jobs and began cheating people to support their luxurious life. The police said both the fraudsters used to collect Rs. 50,000 each from gullible people by promising them government jobs.

The police registered cases against Suresh and Madhukar after receiving complaints from the victims Saramma and Shashikala of Musheerabad. Police seized 10 fake stamps, 11 fake documents of various government departments and 8 fake documents of flats from the accused. Their cellphones have also been seized..

Police said the duo also cheated Mogulaiah from Bollaram by promising a flat at cheap rate and collected Rs. 25,000 from him.
