Turncoat Jaleel Khan faces tough times - Sakshi Post

Turncoat politico Jaleel Khan is facing tough times and the trouble for his is coming from within his own community. The Muslim community is deeply unhappy with the MLA from the Vijayawada Old City for trying to use a religious congregation for his personal political advancement.

Jaleel Khan, who has recently ditched the YSRCP and hitched on to the Telugu Desam bandwagon, is now planning to organise a meeting of the Muslim community in Gandhiji Women's College in the city on April 2. He has publicised that over a lakh Muslims from across the 13 districts would attend the meeting. However, the Gandhi College can hold no more than 3000 people. This shows that despite his statements, the turnout to the meeting would be poor.
Also, several religious leaders are objecting to Jaleel Khan using religious organisation like the Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Hind to organise  hi spolitical rally. A large number of local Muslim leaders have complained to the Jamaat national leadership about Jaleel Khan's plan. Two days ago, representatives from the national leadership have come to Vijayawada to ascertain the facts.
Sources also say that the Muslim leaders within the TDP too are unhappy with the strategems of Jaleel Khan. Formr MLA Nagul Meera, MLC MA Ansari have been sidelined by Jaleel in the preparations for the Gandhi College meeting. Also, another senior Muslim leader from the city, former Mayor Mallika Begum too has kept away from the meet.
