TTD incident worse than Emergency: Shivaji

Hyderabad, Actor Shivaji, on Thursday protested against Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam's decision to file complaints against their devotees, at Liberty circle in Hyderabad.

According to reports, he demanded that TTD should cancel the cases it has filed against devotees who were agitating after being forced to wait in queues for 12 hours on Vaikunta Ekadasi. He added that it was unfair on the part of TTD to give importance to VVIPs at the expense of common people.

Labelling the incident, worse than 'Emergency', Sivaji demanded action again TTD Chairman and other officials.

On Saturday, TTD officials filed complaints against devotees for protesting at TTD chairman's office. This is first time in Thirumala's history, that complain has been filed against devotees
