TSRTC to Run 1065 Special Buses for Krishna Pushkarams
Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will ply special buses to major Puskar Ghats in both Telugu states for the convenience of devotees participating in the first Krishna Pushkarams after the state is formed.
Speaking to the media at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) on Wednesday, Hyderabad Zone Executive Director (ED) Venu said the TSRTC is running 1065 special buses from the city to the major Pushkar Ghats in Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda districts in Telangana and other major Pushkar places in Andhra Pradesh as well. 50 percent extra fare will be charged in RTC buses allotted for Pushkarams, he said.

So far, 84 special buses are allotted for the holy occasion and 550 seats are already booked by the devotees. The ED stated major percent of the buses are being arranged from the Greater Zone only and as many as 5,000 personnel are deployed for the Krishna Pushkarams in Telangana.
Krishna Pushkarams to take place from August 12 to 23 in Telangana.
