TS, AP watering down YSR projects: Ponguleti - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress has said that Chief Ministers of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states were watering down the Jalayagnam projects initiated by YSR, whose birth anniversary would he held on Wednesday in the two states.

“The two chief ministers are putting their personal agenda ahead of public interest and are trying to deface and deflate the various welfare schemes launched by YSR which were benefitting various sections of the society,” party Telangana president Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy told reporters here on Tuesday.

Taking strong objection to Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s remarks on the feasibility of Pranahitha-Chevella project as conceived by YSR, he said, finding fault with the design and limiting its utility to four instead of six districts is unfortunate.

In the State of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu has ignored Polavaram project for personal gains and brought Pattiseema on to the scene.

YSR has strived to bring national project to both the projects which are being watered down by the two chief ministers, he said.
