TRS-YSR party cadres clash in Warangal

Warangal was tensed on Tuesday when the activists of YSR Congress Party and Telangana Rastra Samiti clashed.

Activists of Warangal YSRCP on Tuesday set fire an effigy of TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao protesting his comments against their leader Konda Surekha.

Supporters of Surekha in large numbers took out a rally raising slogans against KCR and went to TRS Bhavan and burnt his effigy. Following this, TRS activists came with out with sticks and rods to attack YSRCP activists and a tense situation prevailed in the area.

The TRS activists in retaliation attacked the YSRCP office and damaged the furniture inside.

As the situation at the TRS office became tense, police dispersed the mob gathered there by using mild force. The situation was brought under control within an hour as the police managed to disperse the activists.

In Hyderabad protesting against KCR, the YSR Cong activists burnt the effigies of KCR at the TRS office here. The activists, besides burning KCR's effigy at the TRS bahavan also raised slogans against him.
