TRS politburo meet put off by 2 days - Sakshi Post

The two-day politburo meeting of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) scheduled to be held at the district headquarters town of Karimnagar on November 5 and 6 has been put off by two days. TRS leaders said that the meeting has been postponed as the party president K Chandrasekhara Rao is slightly indisposed.

The meeting will now be held on November 7 and 8, the leaders said adding that the TRS has now convened the party’s politburo, state executive of the TRS and the MPs and MLAs to discuss the future course of action on the separate Telangana movement.

The TRS politburo, the policy making body of the political outfit, is holding its meeting at a time when reports are emanating from New Delhi that a decision on separate Telangana will be delayed. Besides, TRS president Chandrasekhara Rao has recently met senior Congress leader K Keshav Rao and TDP MLA and party’s senior leader Hareeswara Reddy amidst rumors of both the leaders switching over to the TRS. KCR’s confabulations with both of them have created sensation among political circles.

However, Keshav Rao has denied of any move to join the TRS while Hareeswara Rao is tightlipped about switching over to the TRS. He is likely to announce his decision at the TRS politburo meting, party sources said in Hyderabad today.
