TRS MLAs team visits Bayyaram to study on mines

A team of MLAs from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) reached Bayyaram in Khammam district under the leadership of TRSLP leader Eetela Rajender.

The TRS team which left for Bayyaram from Warangal will visit the area of iron ore mines in Bayyaram and prepare a report on the feasibility of setting up a steel factory in the vicinity. TRS Chief KCR on Sunday said he would write a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with one crore signatures seeking setting up of steel plant at Bayyaram.

TRS has strongly opposed shifting of iron ore from Bayyaram to Visakha steel plant as it was proposed by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. The TRS team will thoroughly study on the  iron ore resources and also take views of the people on the proposed factory and mining activity.
