TRS legislators barred from the House

Speaker N Manohar was compelled to suspend the TRS members from attending today's budget session in the house on Monday, after the party stalled the Assembly proceedings demanding a discussion on the Telangana issue.

TRS legislators surrounded the Speaker's podium demanding that the House take up a debate on the Telangana issue and a resolution should be passed. The TRS legislators failed to heed to the Speaker's repeated appeals to maintain decorum. Thereafter, the speaker suspended them for a day.

The MLAs in the suspended list include—Bikshapati,Gampa Govardhan,Harish Rao,Jupally Krishna Rao,Rajaiah,Odelu,Jogu Ramanna,Eshwar Koppula and Etela Rajendar.
