TRS Govt Has No Concern For Farmers: Telangana YSRCP

Telangana YSRCP has said that KCR government has been insensitive to the farmers who are under duress in the Rabi season as loans are not forthcoming.

"Farmers are not getting the loans to carry out the agriculture operations and the KCR government doesn''t seem to have farm loans as its top priority," party spokesperson Konda Raghava Reddy told reporters on Wednesday.

While Rs 11,640 crore is needed for farm operations, the State Government has granted only Rs 4,000 crore and the farmers are left in the lurch, he said.

KCR has always been talking about farmers and their welfare but he did not take any tangible step to enable the farmers secure loans this agriculture season, he said.

Demonetisation has a very adverse affect on the farm sector, he said and added that the chief minister has been talking in different voices on easing cash crunch, he said.
