TRS govt gives nod for Inter-district transfers

TRS government reportedly gave green signal for inter-district transfers, a relief for couples working in different districts.This decision was taken in view of persistent demands for couples separated due to their being posted in different districts.

He asked the officials to speed up the process. The orders are likely to be issued in a couple of days. 
But, these transfers are not applicable for teachers. As the academic year is is half-way through, they would not be able to avail the benefit. 

Teachers' unions, however, are contemplating to appeal to the government to reconsider this. They feel inclusion of teachers in the inter-state transfers would be a great relief to them.Teachers' union leader G.Rajareddy and B. Bujangarao have appealed to the government to consider their request.
