Trouble in Hyderabad Congress: Danam slams Shashidhar
Hyderabad: After Mukesh Goud, will it be the turn of Danam Nagender to leave the sinking Congress ship in Hyderabad?
City Congress president and former minister Danam Nagender on Thursday accused TPCC chief Ponnala Lakmaiah and former MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy of trying to divide the city Congress unit. The immediate cause for his ire was that Shashidhar Reddy was holding city Congress meetings without notifying Danam.
Danam also pointed out that Shashidhar Reddy has never worked for protecting the party's interest. He has said that he will stick with the party and that there was no question of his lobbying with the TRS chief.
Danam termed Marri Shashidhar Reddy as a 'disaster' in the party. Going around Delhi doesn't make him a big leader, Danam commented. He alleged Shashidhar to meeting governor with city leaders on house construction issue without informing him.
