Hyderabad: A Bihar-based trickster gang who divert the attention and rob the cash of customers at various crowded banks in the city was arrested by Abids police on Saturday.

The police nabbed the gang red handed by conducting a special Decoi operation in the supervision of SI Ganga Ram and Additional SI S Mohan Rao with SI Naresh and his team overseen by ACP J. Raghavendar Reddy in the direction of Central Zone DCP Kamalasan Reddy.

The accused were identified as Pramod Sahani, Bhukhai Sahani, Rajesh Kumar Sahani, Vijay Kumar alias Naveen and Shatrudan Kumar. Police seized a cellphone and some cash from the thieves and sent them for remand after the arrest.
