Transparency In Administration Possible Only With The Ouster Of TDP Government: YS Jagan

Kuderu (Anantapur): Transparency in administration and restoration of public trust in politics is possible only with the ouster of the Chandrababu Naidu government, Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.

Addressing a public meeting here on Sunday as part of the 31st day of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, he cautioned the people against electing leaders like Chandrababu Naidu who deceive with false promises and impractical welfare schemes. "It is the duty of an elected leader to fulfill every promise he has made to the people. Failing to keep electoral promises is a sign of weakness and such a leader must resign and go home. The same applies to chief minister Chandrababu," he said. Every section of the society was deceived by the TDP leader with fake promises about employment, fee reimbursement, medical benefits, farm loan waiver and improved working conditions for DWCRA women, YS Jagan said. Hence, there is a need to oust the TDP government in the ensuing elections for the state Assembly, he added.

The YSRCP aims to bring transparency in administration with its welfare schemes and people-friendly policies, he said. Registration of houses, old age pensions, fee reimbursement, Aarogyasri health scheme and other welfare programmes can be registered for within 72 hours by the beneficiaries at the village panchayat offices under the YSRCP government, YS Jagan pointed out on the occasion.
