Traffic restrictions in city for Bathukamma
The Hyderabad city police imposed traffic restrictions in view of the Bathukamma celebrations in and around the Tank Bund area.
The Bathukamma processions from various parts of the city will converge at Basheerbagh cross roads and proceed towards Liberty, Ambedkar statue and onto Upper Tank Bund road. Consequently, traffic from Kachiguda, Narayanguda and Old MLA Quarters and going towards Monda Market will be diverted from AR petrol pump.
Similarly, traffic will be diverted from from Masab Tank, Lakdi-ka-pul and Aaykar Bhavan. A separate parking space will be arranged for VIP vehicles at Dhobi Ghat, Snow World and Buddha Bhavan, police said.
