Hyderabad: Traffic Jams, Land Slides and Power Cuts Mark Rains in Hyderabad Hyderabad: The continuous rains in the city since Friday night have added a new dimension to the regular woes of power cuts and traffic jams.

Now, even land slides are being witnessed as was seen at the Out Ring Road near Pedda Amberpet. Huge boulders came crashing to the ground on the road on Saturday evening. Luckily, traffic was thin on the stretch owing to the incessant rainfall. Notably, the ring road was laid by digging through hillocks. According to the Met office, rains are forecast for the next three days as a low pressure area is building up over the Bay of Bengal. Moderate to heavy rains were recorded on Saturday in Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Medak, Ranga Reddy besides Hyderabad.
