Top Telugu Movies At US Premieres

Tollywood movies are blazing a new trail in the US. Yes, hard to believe as it might seem, counters at the box office in the US are ticking, thanks to the smashing success of Telugu movies. US premieres are a big draw for Telugu movies, which were confined to undivided AP in earlier days and the two Telugu-speaking states after 2014. Along with mega budget movies like 'Baahubali' and 'Rudramadevi', small movies 'Fidaa' and Arjun Reddy' also had a great opening run overseas.

As expected Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, tops the list
with 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and Nani's recent 'MCA' also climbing the charts. Incidentally, MCA collected nearly Rs 2 crore on its first day.
