Bunny, Charan In Period Flick?

There was a major buzz in the internet that Ram Charan and Allu Arjun were going to be a part of the magnum opus film Ramayana ,to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal film fame.

Allu Arvind had announced the probability of co producing the film Ramayana with Bollywood production house. This had set off rumour mills talking that Allu Arjun and Ram Charan would also be given important roles along with Hrithik Roshan. The truth finally came out when director Nitish Tiwari who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film "Chhichhore" which was set to release on August 30th along side Saaho but got postponed to September 6th now. Interestingly Shraddha Kapoor is also the leading lady while Sushant Singh Rajput is the hero.

Nitesh revealed the truth about casting rumours to say that "We are still writing the film and only after the script gets ready on paper, we will know where we are. Until then we will not be meeting anyone to star in it, or finalising anyone" said Nitesh, when asked to respond on the rumour that Hrithik Roshan is playing Lord Rama in the movie while Ram Charan and Allu Arjun will play other important roles.

For Mega fans this would be a major disappointment as they would have loved to watch their heroes in mythological roles. Considering the fact that both have them have played roles to that effect. Ram Charan in Magadheera and Allu Arjun as Gona Ganna Reddy in Anushka Shetty's Rudrama Devi were etched in their fansr minds, and it is not too difficult to visualise them in such characters.
