Dear Comrade Beats Arjun Reddy At Premieres
Hyderabad: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film 'Dear Comrade' hits the theatres on today, i.e., July 26. The film has already taken a rock solid start in the US and has become the third highest Telugu opener this year.
The film's premieres has collected 259,443 USD from 172 locations until 7 pm on Thursday, according to trade analysts report. It has crossed the record of Deverakonda's earlier blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy'. With the numbers, it now stands next to Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi which had collected 516K USD and Balakrishna starrer NTR Kathanayakudu that grossed 483K USD in the list of this year's premieres.
Meanwhile, film trade analysts speculate that the film will likely make rs nine crore at the opening day in the domestic box office and could surpass Geetha Govindan collections as well.
Rashmika and Deverakonda are the most loved pair on screen following starring in 'Geetha Govindam'.
