Tollywood celebrities mourn death of Srihari

Union Minister Chiranjeevi and several other top Tollywood personalities today paid their last respects to popular Telugu actor Srihari, who passed away in Mumbai.

Chiranjeevi, along with his actor-son Ram Charan, veteran filmmakers D Ramanaidu and Dasari Narayana Rao, senior actors Krishna, Mohan Babu and young actor junior NTR were among those who paid homage to Srihari in Hyderabad.
Describing Srihari as a good actor and a good human being, they said his death created a void which is difficult to fill. They conveyed their condolences to Srihari's wife Shanthi and other bereaved family members.
Srihari, 49, passed away at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai last evening where he was admitted following illness. He was shooting there for director Prabhu Deva's movie 'R...Rajkumar', starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. Srihari was last seen in 'Toofan', the Telugu version of 2013 Bollywood action movie 'Zanjeer' starring, Ram Charan.
Some of the films which brought accolades and awards for Srihari include 'Magadheera', 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana' and 'Bhadrachalam'. The last rites of the actor are expected to be held here in the evening.
