Film personalities and a large number of fans bade a tearful farewell to noted music director Chakri (40).

He was cremated at the Panjagutta burial ground in Hyderabad on Monday. 

Several film celebrities and family members of Chakri mourned his death. He breathed his last on Monday morning after suffering a massive heart attack.
His body was kept at the Film chamber and at his residence for public-viewing. The funeral procession of the departed soul began from his Jubliee Hills residence where his friends and colleagues from the Telugu industry took part.

Master of melodies like "neeve neeve neeve nenante" and "Bangaru konda marumalle Danda", Chakri aka Gilla Chakradhar is no more.
But, his melodies and mellifluous numbers are here to soothe our senses and our frazzled nerves. For Tollywood and his countless fans alike, it was hard to believe that the man who presented lilting numbers and regaled one and all at the "Memu Saitham" event barely a few days ago, has departed - all too soon and all too sudden. The Tollywood reacted with grief and shock at his sudden demise. Many took to Twitter to share their sorrow.
